This weekend we got a chance to get away for a few hours and see the Broadway musical Spamalot. I was pretty excited to get out of the house, dress up, and go on a date with my honey.
We went with a couple of our closest friends and had a great night!
Max and I go to a baby playgroup every Wed. Baby Max has a great time with all the other babies around his same age (he is a few months older than some of the babies pictured). He is obviously ginormous, and is the bully of the group without even meaning to be. He just touches one of the other babies and they fall over. We still can't go anywhere without being stopped at least several times for people to gasp and tell us how huge our baby is. I love his chub and am hoping those fat rolls are here to stay for awhile.
We celebrated Dan's first Father's Day. Max hit the daddy jackpot with Dan being his dad. I couldn't ask for a better partner in parenting. Dan is patient and always willing to help. He has changed just as many diapers, and gotten up at night with Max almost as much as I have. He loves his baby boy with all his heart, and I can already tell the feeling is mutual.Last but not least, this little boy continues to rock my world. Especially when he does things like this....
We went to a baptism last weekend, and to keep Max entertained, I gave him the program (since ripping paper into shreds is one of Max's favorite past times. ) I looked down and he had the whole thing shoved in his mouth and was eating the paper! He is my baby boyfriend and I don't know what I would do with out my little buddy.
