Gender Talk and The Bump

June 2 is the magical day. That is the day we are going to find out what gender Peanut is. We can finally refer to our baby as a he or she, pick out a name, and buy some baby clothes! Knowing the sex will possibly help me feel more pregnant, and not just like I am getting fat. Everyone has been asking me if I have a preference, and I most certainly do. I feel like I shouldn't, but I do, and have for several years. Although I have a preference, when we do find out, truly, I won't be disappointed if pink and bows aren't going to be in our future for a while. We will be grateful that it is healthy, and we will love the baby no matter what! (So excited that in 10 days I will not have to call my baby "it" anymore.)

And here I am at 16 weeks. I look tired.....

Hip Hip Horray! I am so excited for you two. You don't look fat, you make all of us look fat when we were 16 weeks. You better call me on your way home of the appointment and tell me. You might get to start shopping but I have to start sewing and that takes longer. Love you Coffee Bean.

Oh what a cute belly. I'm still not sure if you can pass for pregnant yet though. I'm excited to find out what you're having. If it's a girl, then of course we can sew some dresses together. If it's a boy, you may be on your own. I've yet to master that realm of clothing.

I hope you are feeling well by now.

Very excited for you! I remember wanting a girl first. But now that I have a boy then I had a girl, I am happy it happened that way. Gavin is such a good big brother to Emma. He is her little body guard. He loves making sure she is safe, unless he is the one that is pushing her around. He kind of thinks she is his sumo buddy or something. It's fun. But girls are def. so much more fun to shop for!!!
