Utah was so much fun! It was great to see the fam. We love going home. The weather was great, I forgot how nice summers are in Utah. We sure do miss everyone.

Dan went to a Jenny Lewis concert while in Utah. She is awesome, we are huge Jenny Lewis fans.

When we got back to Texas we went to dinner with friends.

We also threw a birthday party for Dan. He turned 27 on July 13. Wow, I sure do love this man. I made him his favorite, pecan pie, for his party. It was the first pecan pie I have ever made and it turned out great if I do say so myself. Dan even said it was the best he's ever had. What a smart man to compliment his wife's cooking. We also made a banana cream pie and Oreo ice cream cake, and enjoyed the night with lots of good friends.
