Arizona

I have been enjoying a wonderful vacation in sunny Arizona for the past few days!

Ashley and Capri at In 'n Out Burger.

Emerson filling up the pool so we can take a swim to cool off from the hot, hot weather. We slathered him in what he calls "sunburn". No Emerson, it's sunscreen to prevent a sunburn. But he kept saying to me, "Look, (or yook 'cause he can't say L's) I have sunburn all over me."

Us at the zoo, and the little monkey's sleeping, they were so tired.

Capri always pulls her hair out, but not all the way and she looks like Cindy Loo Who. She was a very tired Cindy Loo Who in this picture. We wore her out with all the FUN we had all day!

Me by a couple of cacti in their front yard, I really thought they were cool.

I have the best twin sister in the world. For her Mother's Day present she asked her hubby to fly me out to Arizona to visit. We had so much fun swimming, going to the zoo, getting pedicures, shopping, going to movies and out to dinner. I came home to cold, rainy weather, and am having sun withdrawls, (not to mention Emerson and Capri withdrawls). I miss them so much already and have started planning my next trip to see them again. Love you guys, thank you so much!

Looks like you had so much fun! It stinks having your family live far away, huh?!

I love summer weather! I can imagine it was hot there, but it sounds like you did a lot of fun things with Ashley. I'm sure she LOVED having you visit as well. Let's talk about the time you will be in Denver. With you having to come out of security at the airport the two hour layover might work? It would be fun to catch up!I think you should just delay your flight for the weekend and hang out here for the 4th!

Holy cow! It has been so long. I am glad you found me. Blogging is the best for that. I have thought about you and your sister so many times since I had my twins. I am glad you are both doing well. Twins are so cool. You look great and it is good to catch up. I'll add you on my friends so we can keep in touch.

looks like you had a blast. Arizona is looking really good to me lately with the weather being so cold here all the time. Thanks for being so sympathetic about my dog, it's sweet. With antibiotics she is finally doing better. :0)
P.S I don't remember you having a dog in high school, am I just remembering wrong?

A vaction with your sister...I'm so jealous! Sounds like what a fun trip and what a sweet husband Ashley has to fly you out! Her kids are adorable and I know you are the best aunt to those kids. I can't tell you how much I know Ashley appreciates your influence on her kids!

Linds - so fun to see you and Ashley together. I am in the middle of raising sisters who fight and endlessly tease each other. Do you think that someday they will actually travel to be together? And love each other's kids too?
Your parents did a great job in raising two wonderful girls. Hope you get to go a lot to see the Jatens!
