What the Walkers are up to...

I have been wanting to learn how to sew for a long time. So a couple weeks ago, I went to Logan to visit my friend Carrie and she taught me how! I still have a lot to learn and a lot of practicing to do, but these were the projects we got done, 2 pillows and a dress for Capri.

Capri's dress is a little too small and too long, but not bad for my first time ever sewing.

And here is my husbands latest project, he painted this picture of Neil Young. Once again, amazing.

Easter fun!

Capri absolutley adores her Unckie Dan, and I think he equally adores her.

We all had fun playing Wii sports.
Autumn spent the weekend with us, and this pretty much sums it up. They were glued to the T.V. for hours doing nothing but playing video games.
The kids enjoying a very yummy meal cooked by our loving Mom, Dad and Papo Walker. Thanks you guys for the great meal.

My favorite sis.

Autumn and Matthew.

The whole Walker family, minus Sam.

The Prophet Joseph

This picture was passed around in Sunday School yesterday and the guy who had it said he had just recived it from a friend. It is supposed to be a very recent discovery in the RLDS archives, and supposedly the first photograph found of the Prophet Joseph Smith! I certainly thought it was exciting, and personally think that it's authentic. Hopefully in the future we will get some type of confirmation on this. What do you guys think?

Matthew knows style

See, Matthew knows what's up with the style. Our cute nephew is trying to be like his Unkie Dan. Don't worry little Matthew, in several years you will be able to grow a real one!

The girls hangin' out

These are a few of my friends that will be missed very much. Pic. me, Kristin, Jamie, Marissa, baby Sadie, and Adria (missing Cassie). Jamie and I will be kickin' it in Dallas Texas come this summer. Oh and I chopped about five inches off my hair!

The results are in....

The results are in and a final decision has been made about where we are going to medical school. We better dust off our cowboy boots because we have decided on UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas! By the looks of the poll, this isn't the popular choice, only one person voted for this school. Hope that isn't a bad sign. This was a very, very difficult decision, but after much thought and prayer we know that Texas is the right place for us. It is the best school Dan got into (ranked in the top 20 medical shools in the United States), and the tuition is unbelievably affordable. Also, the cost of living in Dallas is not very expensive either, and we will be able to afford a house. (One of my biggest dreams!) We are very nervous and scared about the big move, and are going to miss our families soooo much. We will be moving this July. I have never lived outside of Utah, and I am hoping it will be good experience for both of us. We just want all of our family and friends to know we love them so much and we really are going to miss everyone.

Our cute niece and nephew!

Emerson and Capri are so cute! I can't get enough of them. Look at those cute little faces, (Capri's is very messy in this picture from eating something orange.) But seriously! They almost make me want to start having kids. Almost. Entering the land of parenthood is a scary thought! We babysat Capri on Sunday and took her to church with us. She was such a little ham. She sat on our friend's Aaron and Marissa's lap the whole time and smiled at everyone giving them her doe eyes. She sure does have us wrapped around her little finger. Ashley already told this story on her blog, but I wanted to tell it again because it is so sweet. I went to visit Ashley and the kids after work a few weeks ago and we were talking about us moving. Emerson grabbed my face with his little hands and said, "Auntie Lindsey, don't forget our names, mine is Emerson and that is Capri." Oh, melt my heart!
